With a real cultivation area of almost 10,700 hectares in the Region of Murcia, this Operational Group accounts for approximately 46% of the total production of quilted vegetables in the Region of Murcia. On the other hand, PROEXPORT brings together almost 70% of the total regional production and export of horticultural products, which guarantees the representativeness of the sector, as well as the capacity to develop dissemination actions with the maximum reach in the sector.

By increasing the efficiency of nitrogen fertilisation we will be able to mitigate the impact of agricultural activity on the environment and provide a formidable tool for the members of our association and all producers in Campo de Cartagena to improve the market position of their vegetables grown with low environmental impact. With this objective in mind, we coordinate the functioning of the NUVES operational group and participate in the development of its work.

BF AGRICOLA 4G, S.L. is a company created in 2006 by the Bonduelle Group, a French multinational and world leader in the production, processing and marketing of vegetables. BF AGRICOLA 4G, S.L., has participated, and is currently collaborating in innovation projects to improve production processes and the sustainability of agricultural production. As members of the Sustainable Plant Nutrition Operational Group (NUVES), we participate in the NITROSFERA project to improve the efficiency of nitrogen fertilisation and create dynamics that improve the fertility of agricultural soils, the lifeblood of the activity and an element that needs care and protection.

A family business since 1990. Our main activity is the cultivation, packaging, conditioning, packing and sale of lettuce varieties Little Gem, Little Gem Roja, Romana, Mini Romana, Cresta, Mini Romana Roja and Oval Salat.

The company produces around 800 hectares of crops in Murcia, Albacete and Almeria. Our main customers are the most prestigious supermarket chains in Europe and European markets.

We have our own laboratory accredited in pesticide analysis by ENAC, and we also have a seedbed for our own plant production.

The fundamental pillars of the company are respect for the environment, quality in both processes and products, being certified in BRC, IFS, QS and GLOBALGAP, and, finally, constant innovation in both its products and processes, with a strong commitment to R+D with its own department.

Intercrop Ibérica, a leader in the horticultural sector, has more than 30 years of experience in the production of a wide range of crops such as speciality lettuce, baby leaves, spinach and organic crops. With sites in the Region of Murcia and in Kent (UK) Intercrop Ibérica is able to offer its customers high quality produce 12 months of the year. Technical and environmental integrity are key fundamental values on which it has built its historical trajectory at the forefront of the agri-food industry. Innovation and development are fundamental pillars for our company and this makes us leaders in a continuously evolving sector, offering our customers new products with a marked added value that allows them to differentiate themselves from their competitors.

At Agromediterránea we have specialised for over 30 years in the production and distribution of vegetables direct from the field. Our activity covers a wide range of vegetables and aromatic herbs, including different varieties of lettuce, courgettes, broccoli, radishes and corn. We are also specialists in the cultivation of specific varieties for the fresh-cut industry, such as tender sprouts. We grow our vegetables on 4,000 hectares of land, distributed over 25 farms located in the provinces of Murcia, Almeria, Alicante, Valencia, Granada, Albacete and also in the Canary Islands, where we have been pioneers in the cultivation of lamb’s lettuce and kale.

Grupo G’s is a family business founded in England by Guy Shropshire in 1952. In 1985 it arrived in Spain with its headquarters in the Region of Murcia. We market our products in practically all the countries of the European Union and the United Kingdom. We currently employ more than 4,000 people and have around 6,000 hectares of land dedicated to the production of a wide variety of lettuces, celery, baby leaf, tomatoes, citrus fruits and our range of organic products. We also have a range of ready-to-eat products. Thanks to our integrated vertical production system, from the seed to the final consumer, we achieve full product traceability. Our certifications (Global Gap, Grasp, Leaf, BRC, IFS, ISO 14001, QS, SEDEX, Organic Farming Certificate) represent a commitment to comply with the good agricultural and handling practices established by the different quality, ethical-social and food safety protocols in which we are certified.
